Introducing the newest addition to our frappe frozen solution: Matcha Frappe, a delicious and healthy beverage that offers a unique and satisfying drinking experience.
What is Matcha?
Matcha is undeniably popular today, but did you know that Matcha dates back nearly a thousand years to a time when dynasties ruled China and Shogun clans ruled Japan? And like all tea, Matcha is made from the tea plant Camellia sinensis. This tea is explicitly cultivated for Matcha and is primarily grown in two Japanese regions: Uji in Kyoto and Nishio in the Aichi prefecture.
Matcha is a high-quality powdered green tea well-known for its unique flavor, vibrant green color, and numerous health benefits. What makes matcha unique is the way it’s grown and processed. Matcha tea leaves are grown in the shade, which slows down their growth and increases the production of chlorophyll and other nutrients, resulting in a higher concentration of antioxidants and amino acids.
